I'll take any projection where these would be their weekend grosses:

Flags $14.1m
Prestige $13.1m
Flicka $7.7m
Marie $4m

I just noticed that The Departed is #6 on the Top Rated films of all-time list at Yahoo. Wow.

Final numbers:

The Prestige 524, +25, B+
Marie Antionette 318, +5, B-
Flicka 262, +2, B-

I'm thinking $4m for Flags, $5.5m for The Prestige, $2m for MA, and $2.5m for Flicka.

This is precisely what I'm thinking. An excellent Friday for The Prestige, although I suspect it will be fairly frontloaded.

We did fine again.

Ratios with actuals:

Flags of our Fathers - 128.90
The Prestige - 101.90
Marie Antoinette - 165.57
Flicka - 104.40

Flicka came in higher than estimated - probably because it was more a tween girl film than a standard kid's film. Flags was also a shade higher, but not abnormal for this type of movie.

Wouldn't Saw's ratio be higher because it's a highly-anticipated sequel? I'm not sure about these things, just prognosticating.

Saw II was 128 and ratios have gone much lower in the past year. 110 max IMO, but given the low ratios of Pulse, Grudge 2, and TCM: TB I'm going with that prediction.

For ratios, I'm going with 90 for Saw III (Saw II - 40, but above The Grudge 2/TCM: TB), 120 for Catch A Fire (similar to Waist Deep), and 150 for Running With Scissors (adult-oriented but a crappy TC).

 Nice one!

I'll go with fairly similar ratios, 85 Saw, 125 Catch a Fire, and 175 Running with Scissors.

Could we start including the writtens regularly? I know some of us already adjust our expected ratios as the day progresses, dpending on the # of writtens (wasn't RT doing a project based on these, too?). And with the growing clogging, it may be helpful to start using these on an ongoing basis in addition to the normal # of ratings.

Sounds good to me.

Saw III - 44 (was at a 1:9 ratio this morning, so it's likely near 400)
Catch A Fire - 4 (probably has a 1:5 ratio)
Running With Scissors - 14 (been at a constant 1:5 ratio)
