Even though Beowulf was expected to be kinda a rush out on Friday, I'm going to predict alot bigger frontloadedness to it due to wom. I just don't see this being a film that alot of people will recommend. It gave me a Final Fantasy vibe after seeing it...

Beowulf is far from an amazing movie. And it could still very well be in line to make more money in one weekend than Into the Wild (which *is* an amazing movie) has brought in over the course of its entire run.

Transformers is an overrated piece of garbage by fans of that stupid show and such websites like this.

Thats your opion, but people dont go to see it expecting gospel. They went for a good time; to be entertained; and it was. Its hilariously funny while awe inpsiringly jaw dropping with action. Guys can look at Megan Fox while chicks can check duhamel and tyrese.

What is Going on. Beowulf was movied to a smaller theater and still did not even sell half a theater. What kind of numbers can we expect.

Crappy ones, thankfully. I don't want films like this doing well or else Hollywood is going to make every film like this as it's the so-called "Future of cinema" based on the ads for Beowulf. I prefer flesh and blood people, not creepy-looking CGI versions of people. If this was live-action it could have done at least half of 300's numbers.

Funny thing is, i thought The polar Express was a better looking and a better film. Beowulf was nothing great. It was Decent at best.

In comparison to everything else, Enchanted is doing VERY well. No Country for Old Men is currently at 917 (211), but I have no idea what that started at.
