Nah.... Detroit just makes everyone looks like chumps. That was a fun game to watch. Big Ben had some amazing blocks, and Prince owned the King.
Miami got thumped by New Jersey. As a Pistons fan I'm rooting for Miami as I think they suck this year. New Jersey can be scary, and was one of the few teams to beat Detroit on their own court late in the regular season.

I just want to say that I thought that Cleveland going to the hack-a-Ben strategy midway through the 2nd quarter was the saddest thing I've seen since Kobe quit midway through the game 7 against Phoenix. I can understand doing it at the end of a close game, but by the coach instructing his players to do it midway through the 2nd quarter - when you're down by 20 - is just saying to your team that you've completely given up, and have no strategy to win. I was glad to see it blow up in their face as they went down by 5 more points while trying that!
The Pistons look thoroughly bored with the the Cavaliers. They started coasting in the 3rd quarter, and then quit playing altogether in the 4th quarter when they were up by 20. It's like watching a Pro team take on a junior varsity one.
As for the other action... San Antonio has been thoroughly unimpressive so far this year as has Miami. At this point it looks like only Detroit and Dallas came to play.
EDIT: Just found this from the Free Press... echos my sentiment exactly:
Quote: Look, if you don't want to play, you don't have to. But don't start hacking Ben Wallace. In the second quarter? If that's the best the Cleveland Cavaliers can come up with, maybe they should rethink this whole second-round thing.
True, they were already trailing by 20. And yes, they were clearly out of ideas. They had already used the 24-second violation, the five-second violation and the three-second violation. There's not much left. Maybe pass interference.
But Hack-A-Ben? Yep. With two minutes left in the second quarter. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, the 7-foot-3 center, was clasping Wallace the way a wife clasps her husband before he leaves for war. The idea was to send Ben to the foul line, where lately he has seen more air than a bike tire.
This is desperation, of course, but desperation, by definition, usually comes near the end of things -- not before halftime. What were they going to do in the third and fourth quarters? Hide the ball?

What happened today? Total opposite of game one in both series.

I can't get a handle on any series, except the Detroit-Cleveland one. The rest of them were as different as night and day between game 1 and game 2. This looks like it could be an interesting round 2 with 3 of these.

Can't believe the Clippers lost again. They're a much better team than the Nash show Phoenix, I don't understand what's happening.

Phoenix isn't that powerful by themselves, but they have some weird effect on anything from Los Angeles. It's just like Kryptonite to Superman!

Wow... there is a shocker.
The Pistons had a let down game? No, not my Pistons... Those bastards do it to me everytime. I had just a glimmer of hope that this Pistons group might sweep their first series ever, but no... they always have to roll over and die on either game 2 or 3.

I expect at least a win by 20 from the Pistons in Game 4.
Anything less I will be disappointed

Hey, what about that five game sweep against the Lakers in the finals two years ago? First five game sweep ever.

Oh my... I now predict a Detroit win... by at least 25...
Cleveland is gonna get rocked

We were one freakin' Kobe Bryant lucky 3 point shot away from sweeping them! I hate Kobe.

You have to love Rasheed. His team always backs him up when he talks like that, and he's never been wrong.
But, it's hardly a bold prediction. The Pistons just far outclass Cleveland. Detroit shot horribly in that last game and turned the ball over nearly 20 times and still almost won. It's like they can hardly lose to Cleveland... even when they try.
If I was in Vegas, I would bet the farm on a Detroit victory in game 4.

They're only favored by 5pts, I should put some money on it.

Love those Sheed vids... I saw that Reggie Miller one when it was happening and laughed my ass off.
Just a heads up, you have to click the link on the second video from this page: http://need4sheed.blogspot.com/ as it won't let you link independently.
Cool site, though. I'm watching all their vids. You've got to love Sheed. I'd probably hate him if he were on an opposing team, though...

I like this NBA Fight Mix, theres a few Wallace apperances. Even one involving him when he was with Blazers where he got into something with the Warriors

 I miss Dennis Rodman.
Oh, and who was the guy that picked the guy up and body slammed him?
My favorite moment was watching Kobe getting punched in the face twice and then him trying to return some girlie looking punches.

Wow... I would have lost the farm if I was in Vegas. Good thing I didn't bet on it!
I love Sheed, but if he's going to make a guarantee, he should really show up to play. He was playing pretty poorly before his injury and made some boneheaded mistakes in the 4th quarter before being benched. The Pistons are just shooting horribly in Cleveland, but I thought their defense and focus was very good tonight... they just got beat. My hats off to Cleveland who didn't fold after getting blown out the first two games, but I will be surprised if Detroit doesn't take this in 6.
