$150 for an all day session lower level yesterday, now it looks like the lowest is around 200+

I dunno.

I feel like Northwestern St. has a real shot at Iowa. Iowa is your typical Big Ten team (big, dumb, white, and slow), and Northwestern St. has tons of speed and athletes, and they hit 3s. It could happen.

Also, Iona/LSU, South Alabama/Florida, San Diego St/Indiana, UW-Mill/Oklahoma, and Pitt/Kent St. could all be pretty interesting.

Will a 16 ever beat a 1 seed? I just want it to happen.

Upsets:

Air Force over Illinois
Xavier over Gonzaga
SDSU over Indiana
George Mason over Michigan State
Wisc. Milwaukee over Oklahoma
Northern Iowa over Georgetown

Not really sure why Northwestern St. is all of the sudden the hot upset pick. I am not a big fan of Iowa, but NW St. just doesn't play defense good enough. I took San Diego St., even though I think Indiana is the better team (they might go far this year). I think the fact that San Diego St. is from the West Coast and is used to playing at the high altitude will be enough to pull out the win. UW-Mil is my pick, because Oklahoma has been playing like dog poo the last 6 games. Texas A&M was actually favored in Vegas when the line came out, but the Syracuse fans have moved it the other way in some of the lines (still a pick-em in some of the lines). I really don't care for TAM, but I think Syracuse has run out their luck in winning the Big East tourney, and they don't play good enough defense. Oral Roberts is a long shot to beat Memphis, but they could do it. Oral Roberts is more like a #14 (they are better than Northwestern St.) than a #16 and Memphis having to play in CUSA will be a little rusty. This is the best chance for the ultimate upset since Princeton almost took down Georgetown back in '89. I would give ORU about 1/20 chance of beating Memphis.

I could see Tennessee falling, since Winthrop is really tough playing good teams during the season, but it has become such a popular pick (with respect to the seeding discrepency) that I probably won't go for it.

Among the 5/12 matchups, Washington has the best chance of losing, IMO. Also UNC lost once as No. 3 seed before, and with a young team, I wouldn't be surprised that they will be in a fight against Murray State.

I agree Oral Roberts has a decent chance at beating Memphis. OR is a experienced team who won 45 games (I think) in the last two years, and Memphis is, like UNC, young.

Oh yeah I picked Winthrop over Tennesee. Winthrop lost to Memphis by 10 at Memphis. Two weeks later Tennesee lost to Memphis by 9 at Memphis. Tennessee has some injury problems Dane Bradshaw is going to have off season wrist surgery, and it was a secret until the SEC tournament. He is like their 6th man, and they haven't played well since he injured it losing 3 out four. Probably won't happen, but I thought it looked interesting.

I dunno. I saw Bruce Pearl on PTI yesterday, and I honestly feel he is one of the best coaches in the game today. I really have a good feeling about Tennessee going into the tournament. Their style of play is perfect for a deep run.

Just did my bracket, might edit it later though. Right now my final four is Memphis/Syracuse/Illinois/Villa, with Memphis winning over Illinois in the finals.

What's with the 5 entries thing? Are you guys doing that, or just going with being fair with 1. I think I'll personally only do 1.

The early games are looking good. Seton Hall is such an inconsistent team and getting killed by Wichita State. Cinny is certainly more deserving. Oklahoma is pretty overrated the whole season too, winning 4 games by a single point.

I think the real story is Pacific is only down 2 to BC. If BC gets knocked out then a lot of people are gonna lose a final 4 team.

Some thoughts...

UW-Mil/Oklahoma isn't really an upset. Infact, I don't know a single person that went with Oklahoma.

Wichita St. killed Seton Hall. I'm not surprised that Wichita won, but I am surprised that they blew them out.

This Pacific/BC game is brutal. Overtime, and Pacific is pulling away. I'm glad I didn't fall for BC that much. I think I have them going to the Sweet Sixteen. So, it's not the end of the world if Pacific pulls this one off. Really shocking, though.

I did have Boston College losing in the second round after realizing how they have to fly across country and play the first game of the region on Thursday at a high altitude. I thought the stamina will be a problem against Nevada.
