I did not previews. I said PS(Presales) !!!!. That was not from me but industry reports.

I had predicted 38-40m range for previews in my final update at BOT. Weekend I was even more conservative but I feel 200m should happen.

200m seems difficult as that would be a better previews multiplier than TLJ but we'll see

No!! If these were OW numbers for mid ranged movie then yes but not for previews.

I mean who knows $200M could still happen, but I'm actually leaning closer to it being more around $180-$190M considering it should be more frontloaded than TLJ. I never bought those early numbers from Deadline though and yeah BOT was pretty much on the money with their tracking for the previews.

Didn’t CATS cost $150m?? And apparently it’s unwatchable so it won’t pull a Greatest Showman. Also not sure how much overseas appeal it would have.

Cats was 95m, and Europe is where Cats is most popular. But you’d think the fourth most popular musical in America would have more interest for its film adaptation.

Yeah I trusted the BOT estimates more. They certainly had sample size, and there was a good diversity in the data, all pointing to the same range. So to no surprise, it was evidently representative.
