Re: Batman: The Dark Knight Predictions-3 NEW TV SPOTS!
What's great (I think) about this movie is really it could do as low as $80 million opening weekend and still be considered a massive success...I really don't think anyone could spin that big of an increase over its predecessor as bad....

No way this movie does only 80 million. That would mean it barely increased over the 5 day of BB. I'm thinking more along the lines of
102/320

I'm not saying it will I'm just saying it's one of the few movies in some time that is guaranteed to be considered a success financially...Dead Man's Chest is the last movie like that that comes to mind.

102/320 Those are too good of legs I feel. The film will have too much natural frontloadedness that even with great WOM it's not doing anything more than a 3.05 multiplier. I think the most likley multiplier right now is going to be 2.8. Anything above that would be great. Then again, I also see a 120m+ OW. That's what I originally figured. But then I looked back at the top three biggest July openings and noticed that they all had good multipliers. POTC: DMC-3.12 SM2- 3.51 HP:OOTP- 2.98 Assuming the public loves the movie as much as the critics have so far, I see no reason why this movie won't get a 3.0+ multiplier.

We'll see. And when it fails to pass Wall-E's 100's, I shall laugh and claim supremacy

Re: The Dark Knight Predictions-bonafide BEST FILM OF SUMMER!
You're fucking turning me off this fucking movie with your fucking ridiculous fucking hype. There, I got it out of my system. Edit: Sorry But this is getting ridiculous. It's just a stupid movie about some guy who dressed up as a bat at night. Get over it.
