Screw all the other TV spots, they just need to keep playing that one non-stop.
Ledger IS the Joker. I think the feelings I had a couple months ago when he passed away are slowly starting to come back, because I'm starting to feel that he really did have a vast amount of potential. Definitely, and with Carlin's death yesterday, it just brings Ledger's death into focus again for me. It sucks that they both had to go. Two of the few celebrity deaths that have bothered me lately.

Is it possible they have shown way too much footage?
I know it's just bits and pieces but what movie has had so many trailers, spots, and clips SO early in the game? I'm hoping it doesn't backfire.

There were 2 more TV spots tonight. One with American Gladiator and one with Letterman! Good God, 8 TV spots already. 3 in one night.

Looks to me like they are using the same 2 or 3 scenes for the marketing. It's not giving a very good overall idea of the rest of the movie. It's great marketing because it's saturation but it's not giving away the movie like Spidey 3.

I mean, in that new TV spot, there's probably only like 5 seconds of new stuff. More than that. But the other TV spots before it show almost nothing new from the trailers, aside from the "Hmmm" line. But this new one has two new great Joker lines, the Gordon line to Batman/Harvey, the Tumbler/18 wheeler showdown. Probably around 15-20 seconds of new stuff.

Re: Batman: The Dark Knight Predictions-1st TWO-FACE FOOTAGE!
Holy shit, I just saw a new one on the Craig Ferguson show. Batman tells Joker "I only have one rule" and Joker responds, "Tonight you're gonna break your one rule." And there is an updated version of "Why So Serious???" It's a higher pitched voice than the growling one he used in the 2nd trailer. I actually like the new version better but they are both great. There's at least 9 TV spots not including Dominoes and Reese's. This is crazy.

Theres a lot of early word going on about the film (no actual reviews though). So far it's all been extremely positive, the other word is that the film gets very dark, to the point that people are very surprised it didn't pick up an R rating.

How the hell did they NOT get a disturbing images label put on it when we've all seen that nasty picture of Two-Face concept art? Either the final version is toned down big time or they paid off the MPAA. ROTS got a disturbing images label for Vader's burns. Batman Begins even had such a label for the Scarecrow hallucinations, etc.

I would say so, seems like plenty of it is coming directly from WB workers.

scattered around, a couple editors and trusted Chud users seem to know a lot of details regarding the film. They're not saying much other than what I just posted though.

Chud users that work for WB? Why? Chud hates Batman Begins. If I were WB I'd stiff those assholes as much as possible.

No no no, Chud editors/members that know individuals from WB. While some Chud editors (actually just Devin) and users are down on BB the Dark Knight page over there is pretty damn big. Haters always tend to be the most vocal and loudest in any subject. BTW these Dark Knight hats are wild
