It is going to have a better hold than Day after tomorrow, which was also coming of a holiday weekend and faced a big(althogh not as big) opener.
Assume 22.2 is the weekend number for Superman. It's total is 142. All it has to do is match the amount Day made after its second weekend($58) to hit 200.

Supes officially got owned.
And the under 200 mil club is victorious, pretty much.

There will be no 200 mill for Supes.

Supes- 7.1
Sat- 8.0
Sunday- 7.1

I'm still thinking about 185-192. If it ends the weekend at 140 mill, and it drops next weekend by about 43-45%, that gives it about 13 mill, and that puts it at about 153, plus another 12 for the weekdays, that's 165. Will it make another 30, after that? Maybe....but then again, 185 seems likely to also, either way, 200 is almost out of the question.

Please, First it will be at 142 after the weekend Add in what you thought for the next week $25 That's 167 The 25 you predict for the next week is again a better hold than Day after Tomorrow
So this week it holds better than Day. Next week it holds better than Day by your numbers. Why would it not get at least what Day did after it third week, 37 million
For movies that have made what Superman has Day is the worst case. It is doing better than Day, but all it has to do match Day to get to 200.

You see a big bounce back??? How so??? Explain this??? From where I'm sitting, DISNEY Execs are toasting Martini's and Champagne to PIRATES singlehandedly destroying the Man of Heart in 1 weekend alone and are throwing darts at a picture of Routh right now on a poster with Johnny Depp in full Pirate's getup in the background laughing about it..

Why do I have a feeling that Singer might be the last person to know "what's next" in regards to Superman?

What's next?? I'll tell ya what's next: Getting rid of Bryan Singer and bringing someone in to give the Man of Heart some much need Testosterone and transform him in The Man of Steel for heaven sakes.. Seriously, WB has no business even talking sequel for the major disappointment this movie was and a box office disaster and should call it a day and realize there just isn't any interest in this character like they thought.. Hell, even Christian Bale won't work with Routh now after that dismal box office slaughtering he took from some Pirates..
