I'm psyched.

I think it can manage to get above 13 million, but the demo (18-49) should still be very good.

I'm thinking around 14.5 million viewers for the upcoming episode. The season finaly should get around 16-17 million.

This episode is great so far. The Peter-Sylar showdown was excellent, and I loved the Jessica twist that just happened with the shapeshifting girl.

I don't like the idea of next week's episode. Feels like a dumb theme episode that wont mean a damn thing.

This and Company Man are the best episodes of tv I've seen this year.

Peter's "death", future president Nathan, the Petrelli trio scenes, Linderman, the fugitive trio, and especially the end with the timeline... wow.

Next week definitley looks interesting. I don't really know how they're going to approach it, will future Hiro take them on a tour? It brings up a lot of speculation over what will happen in the finale... I think the bomb is really going to go off and they're really going to lose. Isaac's paintings don't lie, and future Hiro is the real deal. But if the point of next episode is to show them how to fix it, can they really change the future, will future Hiro cease to exist, and if he does, how does that configure into the initial save the cheerleader warning.

Either way, Heroes: Show of the year 06-07.

I thought that first but it might be OK if it includes "past hiro"

The problem with introducing time travel into any work of fiction is not only do you run into paradoxes, but you also provide a way to 'fix' everything using it. For instance, if they don't stop the bomb, then Hiro can just go back in time over and over again, trying to stop it. Takes away the suspense. The only way, to me, for time travel to work is to introduce a predestination paradox, where you can't change the future or the past. This was seen in 12 Monkeys, the first Terminator and, to an extent, Prisoner of Azkaban (both book and movie). The virus can't be stopped, Reese was always going to come back and be John Connor's father, Buckbeak was never going to be executed,.... and the bomb has to go off. If the bomb doesn't go off in the finale I'll be very disappointed.

It was a solid episode, but it felt more like a transition one to me. I'm really looking forward to next week, despite my aforementioned problems with it, just cuz I think it'll be really cool.

Does anyone else hate future hiro?

The Hiro we know right now is a lot more likeable and sans soul patch. (why the fuck does future hiro have a soul patch?)

I don't want them to zap all the fun out of Hiro and turn him into a brooding ridiculous looking guy who takes everything seriously.

I'm not surprised. I thought that last night's episode would get around 12 million viewers, since I had a feeling that the ratings would be signifcantly effected by the long hiatius and I was right. As Stephen Colbert would say, "I CALLED IT!" :hahaha:

AMAZING episode though, even though I wanted to scream at the Petrellis to take the shard of glass out of Peter's dead head, until the smart, sexy, sensible one- Claire- finally did so. Poor Isaac. :( At least he died a true hero.

Next week's eppy looks fascinating. Does anyone else agree with me that Nathan Petrelli as President in the future might really be Sylar in disguise (he would have killed Candace later on and he would be impersonating Nathan)?

So when are we going to find out that Peter and Nathan really aren't related?

That way Claire can have a romantic interest! None of the other heroes are suitable and you just KNOW they want to throw in a love angle, maybe a love triangle!

Oh, so that's her name. I always refer to her as "Transformo-bitch" in my mind when she comes on. Good theory btw.

Oh and one more thing, did anyone notice Peter's cut healed just fine, that's not where the scar came from. I thought during the episode that since he was dead for a while that it couldn't heal when he got up, but I guess not.

I mean serioulsy....THE GUY HAD FUCKING GLASS IN THE BACK OF HIS BRAIN! FUCKING TAKE IT OUT! Mohanndir is the biggest idiot in the world. And I love how it was so easy for Mr. Bennet and co. to just escape so easily. So stupid.

This was like 24, except 24 can do this and it is still entertaining to see because its...fucking 24. Heroes is not at that level yet where it can be so ridiclous and still entertaining.

I am serioulsy starting to think that Heroes is going to be like LOST and start to lose its edge soon.

No dice

Heroes isn't laughable like 24, because it doesn't take itself as seriously as 24. Are comic books realistic? No.

And Lost is most certainly not losing its edge, the show is arguably the best it has ever been right now.
