That's actually quite good so far. It's still early, but I think it can achieve roughly $6.5-7.5m.

For opening day that would be fantastic and outpace tracking quite a bit.

Removed from the frontpage. I think the written-to-overall ratio should be close to 3 at this point, so look good for at least 1,000 reviews.

For Friday?
Honestly, how accurate is this? Hasn't projections from this in the past been off my a lot?

Hmm, no new written reviews.

I'm not really liking that Hitcher grade. Surprised it would be so low actually.

The Hitcher - 428 (177), C
Without frontpage, the pace has slowed down big time. The small increase in written reviews is especially a bad sign.

The written reviews from what I read has more to do with half of the people arguing if it compares with the original or not. The fans of the original hated it while the ones who havent seen the original or trying to counter grade those that gave it a bad grade. I somewhat could understand the fans of the original hating the remake now

The Hitcher is looking to finish with a little over 200 written reviews. It had considerable homepage time, and the grade is weak, so look for a ratio of 70-80 and a $2.5-3.0M Friday, IMO. A major ouch.

Checked after midnight, and every film did start with 0:
Blood and Chocolate - 25 (5), B
Catch and Release - 22 (4), B-
Epic Movie - 105 (145), C
Smokin' Aces - 42 (11), B-
Epic Movie has a line on the front page.
I'm thinking 130 for Blood (PG-13 horror), 100 for Catch (adult-oriented romantic comedy), and 150-160 for Epic Movie (Date Movie had 191.10). Not sure about Smokin' Aces. Lucky Number Slevin had 273.35, but that probably had some front page effect; can't see this one coming close with the new layout. R-rated action comedy doesn't have to have a high ratio.

Epic Movie was on the frontpage for nearly two hours, so it will have a much higher written ratio. Catch & Release is off to a very slow start so far.

3-hour update:
Blood and Chocolate - 61 (8), +36 (+3), B
Catch and Release - 53 (8), +31 (+4), B-
Epic Movie - 477 (234), +372 (+89), C
Smokin' Aces - 100 (17), +58 (6), C+
Look like they're unclogged for now.
The frontpage and 1:2 written-to-overall ratio mean Epic Movie should be looking at a high ratio, but the early pace still appears good. However, as we saw last week, early frontpage could really distort things, so need to see the pace when it is not on.
Blood Diamond could be doing better than the $2m weekend some of us predicted.

Blood and Chocalate's grade wasnt what I expected to be that good. Smoking Aces grade however seems veyr discouraging

It has a little following of Wiccan girls who loved the book, bet if you read the user reviews some of them would clearly be from them giving the movie A+s.

Blood and Chocolate - 77 (12), +6 (+0), B-
Catch and Release - 68 (11), +2 (+1), B-
Epic Movie - 647 (301), +22 (+10), C
Smokin' Aces - 133 (31), +6 (+0), C+
Now I feel safer to say Epic Movie is doing fine. Should be at least $5m.
