The 4-day numbers warrant a new thread, IMO.

Those of you wondering: What happened to Happy Feet and CW. Remember, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are not very strong days for kid movies. Next weekend, expect both of them to get massive increases.

Nice recovery for Letters and Venus after subpar midweek openings.

Couple more thoughts:

Dreamgirls did even better, god... $10,500 PTA for the 1-day. It beat We Are Marshall's 4-day, ahaha.

The Nativity Story has really been rebounding great, that's a great increase. It really should've released itself on Christmas weekend or the weekend before it, that's when people have been going to see it. Should end up with like a 8 multiplier anyways though.

The problem with Christmas movies... movies about Christmas at least, is that they have a limited shelf after Xmas unless they got something else going for them (like Narnia).

You really want to take advantage of the "whole Christmas season" which is like 2 minutes after Thanksgiving dinner is served these days.
