If they're dumb enough not to know how to use a computer, the ratio would be lower.

You're assuming I have any idea how this ratio thing works after reading this thread for over a year.

Just correcting you. I'm pretty positive that if you can't use a computer, you'd be in the same general category as a child (in terms of ratios, not intelligence), and what do you know? Low ratios!
I didn't assume that you didn't know.

Based on Friday estimates from SBD....accuracy ratings: 95.5% on Departed, 85% on Texas, 97% on Employee. As expected Texas was higher. Didn't expect quite that high, though. Yahoo! was way off Texas.

TCM managed a 71 ratio, didn't it? Jeez, horror movies used to put up 200 ratios on Yahoo.

The Departed 847 $8,500,000 99.65
Employee of the Month 422 $4,100,000 102.93
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning 512 $7,300,000 70.14
Departed ended up closer to Miami Vice and Collateral, Employee ended right in the general PG-13 comedy range we've seen lately, and Chainsaw... lowest horror ratio and second lowest sequel ratio we've seen so far.

What?! I was right? How did that happen? Are you sure?? (I really don't remember what I might have said that was right.)

Ratios with actuals:
The Departed - 94.47
Employee of the Month - 100.09
TCM: The Beginning - 69.62
TCM's ratio was nearly 20 points lower than the previous record holder, 'Pulse', released earlier this year. Looks like lower ratios for horror films may start to become the norm. I expect more of the same with 'The Grudge 2' this weekend.

One Night with the King 70, A
Could One Night with the King pull an upset, j/k.

The Grudge 2 17, +2, B+
Man of the Year 5, +4, C (up from C-)
The Marine 49, +5, A-
One Night with the King 71, +1, A
I'd guess 90-100 for The Grudge, 100 for Man of the Year, 120-130 for The Marine (random guess).

I'm going with the following ratios:
The Grudge 2 - 80
Man of the Year - 70 (expect mostly an adult audience)
The Marine - 100
One Night With The King - 200 (low theater count)

Did One Night with the King already have a bunch of reviews prior to today? I can't see how it has 70 already.

Since we're clogged (as usual), here are some review projections:
The Grudge 2 - 96
Man of the Year - 48
The Marine - 56
One Night With The King - 74

Man of the Year 5, +0, C
The Marine 49, +0, A-
One Night with the King 71, +0, A
10:30 EST - clogged, no update. The Grudge 2 seems to be doing alright.

With its current pace, The Grudge 2 is most likely looking at a weekend in the mid to upper 20's. Obviously this is just a guess.

12:30pm PST does look like the official unclog time now.
Not great for The Grudge 2. Man of the Year looks bad too considering its written-review percentage. The Marine is actually doing decent. Moviefone might turn out to be an early indicator this time. However, the ratio could be high with WWE crowd as See No Evil did have a ratio of 300 before the recent decreasing trend.

There's an incredible amount of people online schilling this movie in a guerilla format. They have left all kinds of reviews on my site and in my Lounge. I do think they had advanced screenings for church groups though.
