Yeah, the suspicious review listing pattern continues as another positive was added. It's not on the fron page yet, but James Berardinelli's review looks to be the one that's going to be added.

Maybe they're trying to drive up hits? I mean, when was the last time they got this much attention, The Da Vinci Code?

You know, I'd welcome a film that's less Saving Private Ryan and more Thin Red Line. Maybe its The New World addict in me.

Updated.
I'm a little frustrated about zap2it's NSFC link, as they've taken away their recent update that I updated here.
Plenty of updates on the RT end. Catch a Fire got another review, running with scissors got a few good ones.

EW posted their review, mildly positive http://www.ew.com/ew/article/review/mov ... 0_,00.html
It atleast keeps the COTC streak going.

The second negative finally arrived for The Queen, and not a well-written one at all.

The across-the-board support for Flags among the COTC is a great thing for the film's chances. Influential critics, critics groups....these things matter. Emanuel Levy and his ilk do not.

Another negative for FOOF from someone nobody knows. MC score is down to 83 after Austin Chronicle's 50.

James Berardinelli hated Marie Antoinette (1 and a half stars).

I wonder what he is going to give to The Prestige considering he is doing it last even though it has the widest release of the films he is reviewing this week.

I just saw an awesome 2 minute Dreamgirls TV spot on TV Land of all places. I wasn't expecting to see that for another month.

Yeah they had that 2 minute TV spot on Comedy Central or whatever we were watching, maybe it was ABC... Either way, it looked damn good.

Times are changing huh? Usually when a movie gets early reviews released it's because the critic wants to cream all over it, now the opposite is starting to happen.

I know, eh? It seems to have happened to a lot of films. Flags started off poor and is getting better, Prestige started off poor but is getting better; Marie Antoinette in early world was supposed to be poorly received but has gotten better, Little Children started off poorly but now is doing just fine. Normally it's the other way around, as you said.
PEACE, Mike.
