Just an FYI - Yahoo took down the user reviews for about 90 minutes today, so keep that in mind for the final numbers tonight.
I did catch it for a second when they put them back up, and Open Season was at 28 reviews, with 10 written. Assuming it has 50-60 actual reviews right now, I'd say a sub $20M weekend is quite possible.

Keep in mind that this time of year, these kind of films have great multipliers. I think the
best comparison is Shark Tale. That had a Friday to weekend multiplier of about 3.75.
It would only need to make 5.4M on Friday to hit 20M for the weekend. A reasonable ratio
for a film like this would be 80 (though 60 was predicted earlier by someone). That means
needs at most 430 reviews to hit 20M for the weekend, and could hit 20M with as few as 325
reviews. I can't see it falling short.

 There's also some clogging.

While OPEN SEASON doesn't look that off, GUARDIAN is fairly clogged.

I wouldn't go into panic on Open Season. Like SolC9 said, with a likely extremely low ratio (under 70) and some major clogging, there's really no sign of under $20 million yet.

I always felt Open Season looked dump, and the story really doesnt even have a main plotline from what I see, I wouldn't be suprised if this only does slightly better than the Ant Bully.

I heard it has a lot of unfunny toilet jokes - i.e., the bear crapping in the woods or something. Not exactly 'A' material. We'll need an unclog for a clearer picture, but we know it will drop off precipitously tonight.

Open Season looks to be on track to $5-6 million
The Guardian to around the same (due to less theatres)
Scoundrels probably around $3 million

The Guardian 355, +79, B (up from B-)
Open Season 278, +40, B
School For Scoundrels 232, +52, B-
At this point, I see $6 million for The Guardian, $6 million for Open Season and $3.5 million for School for Scoundrels.

That would be dead on with everyone's expectations for this weekend.

At this moment, I'm thinking $6M for The Guardian, $5M for Open Season, and $3M for School For Scoundrels. Yahoo should prove useful once again.
