I'm gonna say:
Talladega Nights: $11.5M (I think the Nascar folk will keep the ratio higher)
The Night Listener: $0.6M
Barnyard: $4.0M
The Descent: $2.4M

Talladega Nights - 1535, +211, B
The Night Listener - 157, +18, C+
Barnyard - 329, +20, B-
The Descent - 733, +82, 454 Friday, B
Now unclogged. I think we can use the ratios at this point.
I'd say 112 for TN for 13.7m and a 35.4m weekend.
About 95 ratio for Barnyard and 3.5m Friday. Well, at least that's what the frontloading at yahoo suggests to me. However, I would have expected about 4.1m just based on the number of reviews. I'm inclined to go with a weekend of 10.2m, but it can easily be higher. I guess 3.8m and just over 11m as a compromise.
140 ratio for The Descent for 3.25 Friday and 9m for the weekend.
About 240 ratio for NL and $650,000 Friday. 2.1m weekend.

I'd be thrilled if that came true.

Probably Yahoo was clogged way more than normal. Only excel was close. The rest were off quite a bit.

But with crowd reports, I'm going to go with $15.5-16.5 m or so.

That gives you some extra points.
I think some were as low as $11M.

Look it up, it's true!

Since the estimates are at $18.2M, your prediction sucks.

It's still not going to make $55+ million opening weekend and $300+ million total.
Talladega Nights - 1246 $18,100,000 68.83
The Night Listener - 128 $1,200,000 106.67
Barnyard - 299 $5,450,000 54.86
The Descent - 342 $3,350,000 102.08
Incredibly low ratios.

I hate the way the ratios keep decreasing especially with the clogging.

I'd kinda rather have them go down and make us pleasantly surprised the next day, rather then have them keep increasing and getting our hopes up.

Actually we were right on based on California numbers. But the heatwave stricken rest of the country propped up the numbers a bit to the point where I was under by the same percentages on all the movies ( exactly 28% too low for all 3).

That sounds reasonable. By California numbers, do you mean notfabio's numbers?

Ridiculously low ratio for Tallageda. Honestly, I'm completely shocked. If anything, I thought the ratio would be around 110 or 120 (20-30 below Anchorman). Looks like I'll be heading back to the drawing board for next weekend.

Anchorman had the frontpage BTW. Well, we didn't look at the frontpage in 2004, but it had the pattern of a frontpage movie.
