Yeah, the grade of C+ isn't great, but I don't think it's so low to have a major impact. It is based on a TV show, so it has a fanbase, but so did Bourne Supremacy. I think the ratio will be in the 100 area. Younger audience. Both of those were mpre then 70% over 25. I doubt this is even 60% over 25.
I would think Bourne would be similar to MV in the age demographic split. A little younger for MV yes, but enough to raise the ratio from 77 to 120? I guess we'll find out in about 8 hours.

Dont forget MV just had a 4hr boost thanks to the front page, that takes it's ratio up aswell.

I'm going with $7.5M for Miami Vice (110), $5.25M for John Tucker (185), and $3.25M for Ant Bully (80). Only Tucker seems to have performed well.

My projections:
Miami Vice - $6.5-7 million
John Tucker Must Die - $4.5-5.1 million
The Ant Bully - $3-3.7 million

Wow, that would be really bad for Miami Vice to have an under $20 million opening (and that might allow Pirates to be #1 for a FOURTH WEEKEND! Sheesh..the movie isn't *that* good!).
At least Fox is going to have another relative hit after the bombing of Super Ex Girlfriend... but boy, they really don't deserve it.

Fantastic, looks like John Tucker is going to be a hit!
Miami Vice's $135M budget is looking sickening right now.

Could be. That's part hedge, part thinking that reviews are going to have a small effect with a 30+ audience (as opposed to 15-30). Collateral had almost universally positive reviews if memory serves. Miami Vice is 50/50, and even those that recommend it put caveats in it.

Collateral now is 85/83 at RT, so it defintely had better reviews than MV's current 49/65, at least for now.
(In other words - MV could improve once the rest of the reviews are in, as it has 110 to Collateral's 206 final count, but given where Collateral now stands, it had to have had about the same % at the comparable time)

Ratio of 95 for Miami Vice, despite the bad grade and the more teenage appeal. Not bad.

Well, still a bomb, but I'm glad it wasn't worse. Happy to see JT didn't have such a high ratio. Ant Bully was over 100, but not shocking given the frontloading.

I'd say 150 for The Descent. 125 for Talladega Nights. Barnyard might have 80. Night Listener will likely be near 200. With a grade of a C or worse, which is likely, 250-300.

Talladega Nights - 50, +17, A-
The Night Listener - 16, +2, B
Barnyard - 9, +8, C
The Descent - 287, +8, 8 Friday, B-
Probably nearly 25 for Descent, but I guess we will have to go with that.
