I think i know why some people might not like you. lets face it only a few Americans/Canadians get your jokes. Because even though your humour is dirty it has a lot of substance to it, and that is why a lot non-Americans get you. I think this world needs more people like you in it.

I like humour that has the appearance of something really fickle and dumb, but has a sting in its tail. Satire makes me laugh for that reason. A lot of people have really CBS 8pm sitcom humour. Even if my humour bombs I don't think it's unorginal or vanilla. Or, at least, I avoid cliched jokes at all costs. Racist jokes are not funny because they are like, the most predictable things ever. We've heard everything there is to be said about social and racial groups. Enough of that.

But I must say the idea of a world of more people like me in it is one I don't want to think about. I've already got 12 children and even they scare me.

Yes, 100% of the time no, no one ever finds a person funny all of the time. Michael and I did not always get along, were both strong personalities, but I like Michael, and his posts are interesting to read because soemtimes they are funny and sometimes they are completely out there.

Micheal is entertaining without being rude, and when I disagree with him on something I can call him on it and have a reasonable discussion.

2. You guys are soooo politically ignorant. I used to be able to come to BOM and get all my news there (seriously). But, now, there's a huge thread on the Lebanese war, but there's nothing about upcoming elections (such as the Lieberman issue - do you guys even know what that's about? probably not).

I don't hate you. You're important to this forum because you're one of very few members who lives overseas and shares a different view of international policy. I'd say there's overwhelming support for Isreal on the board, and you are in the minority. For me, at least, that's what a message board's all about. Communicating with people of all types. I can't pretend to understand the opponent if there's no communication at all.

HOWEVER. If it doesn't involve Isreal or an Arab country, you don't respond to anything political. You're not a funny person (and you don't try to be), you don't usually share your opinion on other things - you just discuss football, post your predictions, and move on. Which is fine, but this forum needs some serious, serious improvement. You're not a good moderator/settler, nor a good controvery-causer (haha, I totally just invented that word). You're just kind of in the background and need to come out more and have a bigger presence on the boards.
