Lol. Well that's odd.
I change my Clerks II projection to 2.8-3.3 mil now, by the way.

Marketing isn't to blame for Lady in the Water. I don't know how anyone could have made that movie open to 30 million.

I think MH and LITW will both be near 7m. Super Ex-Girlfriend might have 4m, while Clerks II could be 3m.

Heh, I think Shack forgot to update Clerks 2 total, because the update before that Lecter posted, it was also at 539, so yeah it's more like 36 reviews for the hour.

By the way, is xiayun at comic-con? He's been away all day, and I've recalled him going to events like that before.

"I'm told it was neck-and-neck at the box office Friday but Sony's Monster House scared away Warner's Lady in the Water to take in $7.0 million compared to only $6.5 million."

Clerks II's ratio was below 200. Congrats to Lecter for correctly projecting the gross. And I'm happy too.
PEACE, Mike.

Thanks, Mike.

Anyways, LitW has a B- now, and 1500+ reviews for the day. Maybe it wont drop so bad Saturday and next weekend have an okay drop, instead of 60%+.

I think it'll be down about 15% on Saturday, for a $17 million weekend. Next weekend, down to $6-6.5 million.

No f'in way it drops that much. Maybe if this was a bigger hit OW, but 65% from a 17m OW? No. Will see how it drops tomorrow, give us a better indication.

I am thinkg around 62-63%, actually.
A 55% drop is the minimum, I think. I don't think it will pass $45 million now...

Hmm, I don't think it'll drop that hard today or next weekend. I'm thinking around 55% next weekend.
