Nice for LITW. I think it'll need around $11 million opening day to reach $30 million over the weekend, so that's around 1400-1500 it'll need today with a 130 ratio. Looks achievable.

That +83 is from hours of unclogging, though. I don't see LITW finishing with any more than 800-900 reviews unless it gains profound momentum this evening.

Looking like LITW is ahead in amount of reviews. MH in second but keep in mind Monster House is a also a kids film and I think should be expected not to have as many reviews as kids arent into that so much....

It's definitely still clogged, though. There's no way the written reviews (51) is 44% of the total reviews (116).

Monster House is not off to a good start when you consider that its review pattern will most likely be frontloaded.

The Critics haven't liked any of the popular movies so far this year. Even Cars which gott mainly posted reviews was the lowest ever for a pixar movie on RT. Maybe the Critics have got their heads up their asses this year. I think that was defintely the case with POTC DMC.

Even so, a kids movie will still pick up the most as the day goes on.

Jon, I don't think this is an hourly update - Yahoo just adds/removes reviews during the hour. The next one should be be ready here in a minute.

Monster House seems to be doing extremely well for an animated film

I'll need to see several more solid increases before I buy into that.

Monster House will need at least 800 reviews today to have a chance at beating Pirates. I doubt it.

No, that was the 10:30 update. Nobody had just posted it yet.
