Looking bad for Clerks II and My Super Ex-Girlfriend. Under $10 million for both is definitely a possibility, especially Clerks II.

At the pace it's going, LITW will be lucky to top $20 million this weekend.

Right now, I'm thinking around $20-23 million for Monster House, $17-19 million for LITW, $10-12 million for My Super Ex-Girlfriend, and a really, really low number for Clerks II (like $5-8 million) unless we're way off on the ratio (which I doubt).
Terrible for my derby.

I knew it wouldn't top 30 million, I hoping a little higher for Monster House.

So I'm curious and have an absolutely one track mind. Does it mean anything that Pirates has recorded 291 additional ratings in the last 50 minutes? Either in relation to itself or the current openers?

The absolute minimum for Monster House is $25. There is 0 chance of going under that.
It is going to be neck and neck with Pirates...

Huge internet fanbase, more likely to write reviews.

8:42PM EDT:
Lady in the Water 624, +38, C+
Monster House 361, + 15, B
My Super Ex-Girlfriend 216, +10, C+
Clerks II 365 +15, B+
Is it normal for these things to only update once an hour? The ratings numbers did not move an inch from the numbers Positive Jon posted at 7:40PM for at least 50 minutes.

Thank you. Only by asking a stupid question does one learn why asking it was stupid.

That's convenient. I don't buy that logic. To me it looks like Clerks is going to have a 5-6 mill OD.

Hmm, with 800 reviews, the most LITW will make is around $6 million. It might be a little clogged, though. The written reviews are making up about a 1/3 of the total, which is still kind of high. $7 million max, IMO.

How do you determine the ratio of reviews to the box office? IE) if a film gets 1000 reviews, how much would it be expected to gross on it's opening day?
