You, Me and Dupree 91, +77, B-
Little Man 166, +139, D+
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest 33126, 685 Friday, +550
A huge jump for Little Man, but its grade is abysmal so far.

White Chicks had a ratio of 159 on wednesday and thats even with bogus reviews plus people seemed to have hated that concept even more than LM. I dont think its ratio will be higher than say 155

I tend to agree, but we haven't had a 'D' grade performer since the introduction of the new home page, so my thoughts on a higher ratio remain somewhat guarded.

It's a D+, which means that it's the best D movie EVER! BTW, is there any way to tell how many of those putting in grades are real people who've seen the movie (besides actual reviews?)

New homepage? Can you elaborate on that? I know White Chicks received "D" grades when it opened on wednesday at yahoo because of the bogus grades

I'm referring to the new Yahoo! home page. I don't think we will see a higher ratio if the grade remains this low, but we have been thrown a few curveballs recently during this transition.

Doesn't seem to be clogged today as the ratio of written-to-votes looks normal.

Bad grades raise the ratio, usually, thanks to an overload of bogus reviews. But, with the new Yahoo! homepage (which seems to be lowering ratios, kinda...), it's unpredictable at the moment.

Nah, its better than manufactured crap like YMD winning. At least the underdog movie seems to be winning. And I know its way way too early to tell but if we use Xiyun's projection for 100 on YMD and 150 on LM, it looks like LM is leading ahead. The numbers should be close on both of them

I predicted Little Man to beat Dupree this weekend, and so far that premonition looks viable.

Wow, those are fantastic increases for all three movies.
Terrible grade for Little Man though. A good portion of the reviews are probably from people who haven't seen it and decided to rate it low.

As was the case with White Chicks. Since the ratio is being based on that film, that possibility
shouldn't have an effect on the ratio.

Even with an inflated ratio, Little Man is setting up to do well this weekend. It almost makes me want to scream that people pay to see stuff like this.

Exactly. In actuality, urban films would have a much lower ratio had it not attract all the strange types out of the woods to decide to give it false grades on movies they havent seen

Looking good for Little Man and You, Me & Dupree. Both are looking for at least $7 million opening day, meaning that both could top $20 million this weekend.

Has anyone even mentioned that the movies are on the front page?
