I think the biggest problem for making a prediction for this movie is that I can't find myself predicting over $124.2 million, the same number Sith earned in its first three days last year (and the record). Can it really beat the biggest fanboy film of them all?

No, it doesn't.

Realistically, it just needs around $110 million to break it. 2.72x multiplier. If it just beats Spidey and makes $115 million, it'll need a 2.6x multiplier.

I am upping my OW prediction to 90 million but leaving my overall gross at 310 million.

I suspect there may be a burnout of blockbuster type films going on where people are starting to tire of one spectacle trying to outdo another. I mean at this point the only thing I haven't seen is someone playing Ping Pong with the earth in order to eradicate the villian.

DP07, what would be a disappointment to you for this film? Like... if it opened to just $120 million and finished with just over $350 million, would you be disappointed?

DP07 you used to predict rational. What you have here is almost exactly double of what it will really make.
