anyhoo, as tony also mentioned, Wal-Mart is stupid ... knowing the kind of society theyre in where anyone is willing to make a bit of cash, they should go easy on their stupid marketing of "family store" and just ease up a bit ...

nobody sued anyone when the superbowl happened ..

i have nothing against the principle of the thing at all .. wal-mart screwed up ... the parents are right to be pissed ... just as the crowd was right to be pissed when the superbowl thing happened ... american society was not ready for that ....

but suing someone for 75000 dollars has absolutely nothing to do with your anger or anything ... its just another stupid way to find a way to make some more dough off someone cause they can be made to easily look bad ....

I say when she gets older and understands what happened and when the parents end up spending all that money on her college education, she shhould sue them for allowing people like us to ridicule her on internet forums.

Its the same with superbowl ... its a family event and its not something the american society wishes to see. If you want to show stuff like that, first get your population to accept it or do it more commonly .. and please, most importantly, dont make such a big deal out of it .. its even sadder when it blew up on their face ... they freaking built that moment up for a couple of days screaming out that people will see something never seen before during janet's performance ...

if you consider that to be an issue of censorship, you should just consider taking off wanring labels and things off everything .. last time i checked, everything had a proper rating ....

yes i know ... I'm talking about the reaction .. I'm differentiating between people reacting to an event and suing someone for it ... i dont have a confirmation but i'm sure lovemerox was refering to how people in general reacted to the whole thing ... not the situation where people sued ...

btw, another thing though .. i'm sure wal-mart didn't intentionally let something liek that slip ..... for all people know, cbs might actually be in on that scam ... but thats no more than speculation and has no relevance on my initial point.

All that aside, its ridiculous that we get upset over a cuss word. ITS A FRIGGEN WORD PEOPLE! Why are we worrying over trivial shit like a boob and a cuss word on a CD, more than actual problems America and other countries are facing. Perhaps if we devoted half the time we did to other more IMPORTANT causes than we did over petty shit like this, we would be better off.

Well, atleast in this case, i think it has more to do with the fact that if you promise someone something and they don't deliver, then its a bit of a piss off ... the only thing is, parents should realize that once in a while, a mistake can happen..

I know if my kid is like 8 and he/she wants a cd, i'd be okay if theres a cuss word in the cd somewhere but if its dominated by it, i wouldn't ... cause i never want them to think that thats an okay way to talk ... and if someone otu there keeps guaranteeing me that a situation like that will never happen with their products, i would be a bit pissed off ... and i will go back to the store and speak with the manager or atleast the person incharge of that dept to point out the mistake.
