You are right, but I just thought that horror flicks generally have lots of internet buzz.. maybe I'm wrong though.
About the Tuesday thing though, does it make a difference?
From what I am seeing, most people are still expecting a normal friday type ratio for it...

In my observation, most non-anticipated horror movies are backloaded because most of the business for these comes from the evening shows. I would expect a stronger pace for The Omen this evening.

The next few updates should be interesting. It may not be far off from a B- average, or it could fall to a C.

so if this thing really picks up later at night, then it could potentially have 1200+ reviews... that would mean about an 8 million open with a 150 ratio, right?
That's pretty damn good, I have to say I wasn't expecting that..

Wow, that is a lot more than I expected for The Omen. If the night does well, like it should, then this will open surprisingly large, and my prediction will much too low.
PEACE, Mike.

Sounds right to me. Expect a drop of 50% on Wednesday, though...

Very nice. I still see a $8-11 million opening day, based off of the Yahoo reviews and many sell-outs in the crowd reports thread.

$8m is the minimum I see right now. With no front page all day and the general trend the clogging brings, a number over 1,200 is very impressive.

How much can be expected over the 6-day period? If it gets 8 OD would 25 be about right? More? Less?

Like I posted on the weekend, I see something like this:
Tues $10-11 m
Wed 4.73 -55%
Thur: $3.55 m -25%
3day: $13.5 m-15.5 m
So 6day: $32.5-34.5 m or so.
