How exactly do you...know? Are these just comments you've heard random people making when they leave?

Horrible luck...how?

Do you mean...critically? Because Friends With Money was pretty well-reviewed.

And The Break Up looks like it will be successful financially...

6/2/06 The Break-Up Uni. n/a 3,070 n/a 3,070
4/7/06 Friends with Money SPC $12,580,537 1,010 $589,332 28

For someone as famous as she is, her and movies just haven't always clicked.

Audiences just haven't seemed to like her movies that much. At mojo, other than Office Space, Bruce Almighty and The Iron Giant, her other movies all are C + or less (13/16).

Yep, they are not liking the movie. My employees during a screener didn't like it either.

They mismarketed it as a laugh riot comedy when it apparently is not. I will see for myself on Tuesday as I plan on seeing it after The Omen.

Clogged (230 written).

Looks like a $30M weekend is quite possible. This would be consistent with the theater reports. The grade has also held up stronger than I expected, given the plethora of poor critic reviews.

So... with about 3? updates left... it will probably make it to at least 1100 reviews...

With a 90 ratio that would translate to a $12 mil opening day...

So...

Friday- $12.2 mil
Saturday- $16.3 mil
Sunday- $11.9 mil

That's almost a $40 mil weekend

Well in all fairness - i dont know anyone who actually likes Aniston. She seems to grate on alot of people. Vaughn is liked - however most girls i speak to like him in the funny guy way but not as a romantic lead.

Regardless - if this opens with $30m or below it wont make $100m.

Even Cinderella Man couldn't get 30% with this date. There's a better chance of it dropping then increasing that much.

I can't tell you how much I would love that, since I think that's my derby prediction on the nose... it won't happen. It will end up making $50 million just to spite me.
