Doesn't seem like an overreaction to me. I have a conservative projection of about 7500 reviews for the day. Even with a ratio of 180, that's a $40M+ Friday. I know we were let down last week with DVC (from an estimate standpoint), but I think X-Men 3 will deliver this time around.
Conservative? Thinking it's gonna average 450 reviews each hour from now on isnt very conservative. It had it's huge numbers in the beginning because of gangbuster midnight business, but now it's gonna slow down and pick up again later at nught.

you were saying?
It's been clogged for what 2+ hours?

Depending how long they keep this there, we may have to re-evaluate the ratio tonight. We'll need to call in the experts on that one.

Yeah, that will send the number of reviews thru the freaking roof if they leave that up there all day! That will jack the ratio way up.

Being on the front page in the new layout should pump up the ratio quite a bit. Still, it's doing very well so far.

Solid grade so far. I see it finishing the day with 7500-8000 reviews. Even with a 250 ratio, it's guaranteed a $30 million opening day and $105 million 4-day weekend.

Yeah it will make at least 105 for the 4 day. I am still thinking 110-125 though.

1299 written. It's really clogged. Over 5,000 already I'd say. It should reach 9,000-12,000 IMO.

I'm glad I went against my gut of X3 underperforming. :D I think I'm starting to get the hang of that, going against what I'm feeling. It's worked a number of times recently, and when I did go with my intuition last week I got burned.

It's going at a rate of over 100 written reviews per hour. That probably means 400-500 total reviews an hour.

Hopefully the next hour follows the pattern common for unclogging with a larger update. 1,000+ would be nice.

It's gonna be next to impossible to nail an decent estimate based on Yahoo this time. All that can be certain is: above 30mil.

No way, X2 had an opening of 30 million. this will include at least 4-10 million in Midnight. It should be able to make over 40.

Wow, it's at almost 5000 reviews, and the night is just starting. This is going to be an absolutely huge opening.
