They can speak too? I was just suggesting they could type. The plot thickens...

I think all numbers are low due to the new frontpage, so 12m for OTH, and 36m for TDVC.

I'm thinking around $34-35m today. I'll be shocked if it makes less than $30m. I think it's actually impossible considering the performance I saw tonight at my theater.

I'd guess around $33-35m for TDVC, $10-11m for Over the Hedge, and $1.5-2m for See No Evil.

Don't worry, the particular crime syndicate with a vested interest in these mice will deal with you before you get a chance to find out.

Think you guys have hit the nail on the head again. I predicted way too low for Da Vinci I think. No way it does less than $85m this weekend based on all these reports.

And I low-balled OTH - it should do pretty well today. Dreamworks will probably be happy with this weekend, even if it wasn't excellent.

we can probably just multiply whatever Over the Hedge makes today by 4.0 to get the low range... don't think it's going to be as "Friday-loaded" as Ice Age: the Meltdown. Still annoyed with myself that I let the reviews affect my earlier gut instinct on Da Vinci... I thought it would make $78 million plus but by Thursday, I wasn't feeling so good about it. It may end up becoming the highest grossing, poorly reviewed movie ever.

I'm glad I bumped my prediction from 60 to 65 (still gonna be short by about 20 mil). Any little piece helps.

huge percentage of negative reviews are religious backlash reviews.

A B- grade isn't so bad considering the large amount of hate reviews
it likely got. I think a decent hold over Memorial Day is likely.

I know a lot of people here are holding back to see it because
1. Its completely sold out all weekend
2. Waiting for WOM
My parents are heading into the theater for the first time in over 5 years on wednesday to see it. Whilst a few of their friends are going next weekend.

What does that mean so far for the numbers for Staurday? Is it on pace to increase over Friday's numbers?

Unfortunately, won't be able to tell anything from today's numbers since the films are moved to the frontpage.
