With today acting like a Saturday, I think being on front page from the get-go creates higher early-hour inflation. Also with sequel factor and the characteristic of this particular weekend, Scary Movie 4 will need a $20M Friday to meet expectation to begin with. It's off to a good start, but I'll wait for a few more hours.

It only needs a $16-17 million opening day for a $40 million weekend. If it gets a $20 million opening day, look for $48-50 million this weekend, possibily beating the third's opening weekend.

Yep, SM4 is doing great. Can't expect it to average 600 reviews for the next 10 hours, but it certainly has a good shot at 6,000 total.
The Wild's grade continues to drop.
Solid pace for Smoking. Seems it should get $2m today pretty easily.

SM4 is being released in many countries this weekend also, unlike the previous films.
