The Brothers Grimm - C (Despite being a huuuuge mess, I mildly enjoyed it... :| )
Heights - B+ (A little close to an A-...)
The Producers - B (Eh... overall pretty enjoyable, yet forgettable.

Didn't you once say you wouldn't see this, even with a free ticket or screening?

I'm anti-gay.

Oh, you mean Hostel? ;)

(and the last part was a joke!)

To be fair, I later revised that statement to say that I'd never pay to see it. I walked in tonight after seeing Brokeback Mountain :)

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire- A

Great acting. Great Special Effects. Very enjoyable. My favorite Potter movie by far.

Brokeback Mountain - B+

Enjoyed the film but didn't think it was overly spectacular or even that memorable, but did like the story, acting, cinematog, and makeup.

Match Point - B

Talk about the movie later, I just wanna say I dont think Johansson will ever be a really strong actress, if it ever happens it wont be anytime soon.

Brokeback Mountain - B+

If someone ever told me you'd really like a movie where one man gives another man anal I would've laughed, thank god this movie has so much more going for it then that.

King Kong

People told me the that the first 50 minutes of the movie was so boring ..... that was total BS!, yeah it was slow at the beginning but it wasnt boring AT ALL!! and i was somewhat surprise usually movies past 2 hours are to tedious to me

anyways...I FINALLY GOT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

and it was Exciting, Heartbreaking, Touching, Amazing, Thrilling, Wonderful, Cute and Funny  simply.....BRILLIANT.

OK yeah, the visuals were not all that great, there were some unintentionally laughable scenes, but who cares the movie was a blast!! :D

A+

Glad you enjoyed KK Matatonio. You're right about the first act of KK not being boring. Although the visuals were impressive overall save for a couple excessive scenes.

Last movie:

Chumscrubber - A-

Definitely recommended! This movie has a Huge cast, heck even Lauren Holly has a part in this film. I found the movie very interesting and at times totally surreal. It was one weird neighborhood.

My Summer of Love A- Fantastic movie. #3 on my top 10 of 2005
Book of Love- C-/D+ I've never heard of this movie before. My sister rented it. It was awful, only helped by solid performances.

A conventional but well-made sports drama.

Visually breathtaking, but I just don't give a shit about any of the characters. Probably appeals more to comic book fans, but I haven't read more than ten comics in my life.

Best. Uwe Boll. Movie. Ever.

At first I was worried -- it was only a poorly-directed action flick. But its flashbacks-within-flashbacks style eventually won me over, as did Michelle Rodriguez as herself and dialogue that would make George Lucas blush. And the ending? I think Uwe Boll wants a third Riddick movie more than I do.

A History of Violence

Meh! It was OK, the performances were great, but I don’t know I wanted to see more.
And the some of the sex scenes for me were kinda unnecessary especially the one of the stairs

The 40 Year Old Virgin - B

Starts out strong and funny but slowly devolves into a long, predictable rom-com with an above average performance by the lead and the supporting cast.

Oh and I also have to note how irritating it is that you cannot possibly turn off the extra 17 minutes if you rent/purchase the "unrated" DVD, and if you rent/purchase the regular DVD it is in full-screen only! I wanted to see the original cut as it was seen by audiences/critics last August not some bloated or deformed version, what a botched job the studio did with this release.

A typical 'tortured artist' tale with a decent performance from Gwyneth Paltrow. I rented this to see what Daniel Craig is like. Now I'm worried about the Bond franchise.
