For Republicans to state that Democrats complain too much is the height of hypocracy. I take it you are for a one party system, Mike? I'm a big Clinton fan, but I'm not going to try to blow smoke up anybody's ass in the name of communism. If we weren't a nation divided, then why did Bush win the election over Clinton's right hand man? Even if you agree with me that Gore really did win, you have to admit that it was a pretty divided vote, right down the middle.
The economy was going into the shitter under Clinton's watch. Had 911 happened under Clinton, he would have drove us into the same debts, because he would have had political pressure and pressure from the citizens of the US to go after the terrorists. I find it funny how people are constantly acting like there wasn't a huge support to go full out after terrorism after 911 happened. There was, and everybody was all for catching the bad guys. We didn't get Bin Laden, but we didn't get him under Clinton's watch either, and he did indeed try to.

Phony phone calls try to trick local voters
"Voters who received calls over the past few days saying their precincts have been moved should pay no heed, election officials said, and should go to their previously assigned precincts. The calls are part of what appears to be an organized misinformation campaign, officials said.
“It’s criminal,†said Lake County Supervisor of Elections Emogene Stegall. “It’s the most terrible thing. I have never seen anything like this happen here.â€Â
Stegall’s office received calls Monday afternoon from four concerned residents, all receiving the same automated message on their answering machines. The message told the voters their precincts had changed and they should go to a different location, one which Stegall said does not exist.
All of the calls, said Stegall, were made to registered Democrats. The complaints came from all over the county.
While the four complaints came in rapid succession, calls from confused voters were coming in all morning. It wasn’t until a certain number of voters asked questions about a precinct being moved that election officials realized this was an attempt to suppress turnout, Stegall said. "

If it was the opposite situation, if a Democrat was a president and the Republicans were complaining for the last 4 years, I would have said the same to them. I don't even live in the USA, why should I be especially supportive of a certain party? Sure do I favor one, but I am not as much into it as most Americans are. My whole point was that people will always complain, no matter who the president is. It is the truth and anyone who says it is not, is in denial.
Therefore, calm down. 
Oh and by the way, sou say "Republicans will do anything it takes to win". Well, of course they do. Everyone would. Other dirty tricks Dems played on Republicans today:
1. Bought up all the Perrier around poll booths so republicans waiting in line would thirst to death.
2. Told Republican voters that if Bush is re-elected he'll start wearing french cuffs.
3. Bought and sold stocks today like crazy so the Republicans would waste valuable voting time calling their brokers in a panic.
4. Handed out photos of all the non-lesbian offspring of Kerry and Edwards.
5. Threatened that if Kerry is defeated, Theresa will buy a top NASCAR team and end up on Republican TV sets all the time.

I just got back from voting, and I feel great. I went D all the way down, obviously. There was tons of people there. No where to park or stand in line. It was madness. I'm am officialy bouncing off the walls in anticipation for tonight.

Look, I thought my point was clear: The Democrats may have complained about Bush (and with some reason) but the Republicans are certainly not content to sit back quietly and wait their turn when they lose an election, as we can see throughout the Clinton years. (And I don't recall anyone -- Democrat or Republican -- complaining to Clinton or Bush before 9/11 that he wasn't going after Osama bin Laden hard enough.)
The Republicans are certain to complain constantly for the next four years after Kerry is sworn in.

Well, the ads on NBC Nightly News show him, so I think they are overlapping a lot that night.
Matthews is one of the few political talking heads who gives it just as hard to the democrats and the republicans. Most are so partisan that they cannot even say a bad word about their own candidates, it's terrible. (That's what Jon Stewart was complaining about)...
