I pressed enter by mistake before entering entire value for Snitch this week (Was supposed to press "." but pressed enter beside it ). Karl maybe you can help me fix that.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Game created for this weekend. I usually only check the page on Thursday nights when I make my (brief) predictions.
I've noticed interest in the game has waned somewhat, both among players and admins. But if anyone would like the new game to be added sooner on a regular basis, I'll make it a point to check in earlier in the week, in case the other admins don't get to it by Thursday evening.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
I created a new game this weekend but added an additional entry for The Place Beyond the Pines. I am sure it will maintain Top 10 ranking with just one wide movie this weekend. Since it is expanding to 1000+ theaters this weekend I thought it would be fun to predict it this weekend

Could somebody please finalize the last game (Pain & Gain weekend) and set up the Iron Man 3 weekend for the derby?

Also, just a FYI, I'm playing another similar game called Pick 5 over at www.ez1productions.com that gives away a prize to the winner. It's free to enter and you basically just need to transfer your predictions here to the other site, and round to the nearest million. The game is scored differently in that it's only the top five, and you only get points if the movie is in the correct position. To my knowledge, nobody has ever gotten a perfectly scored weekend. "gauntlet thrown".

Have we ever had two $60 million openers in one weekend?

June 27, 2008 Wall-E and Wanted. June 8, 2012 Madagascar 3 and Prometheus. I would have happened the weekend of December 25th, 2009 if Alvin 2 had opened on Friday. It's 5 day gross opening on Wednesday was over 75M, and Sherlock opened over 60M. (both behind the second weekend of Avatar).

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
New game is up. I decided to put both Croods and 42 on there because it'll be interesting to see what happens to both of them.
What a massive fall for Pain and Gain last weekend. Rock crushes Rock.

 Re: Derby Game Discussion Thread
Here is the ultimate problem with this derby game (for those who want it to have more people playing and be successful anyway). I was on Wednesday and the new game wasn't up yet. I then forgot about it and didn't get in my predictions this week. So the competitive side of me says what's the point of continuing to play now that I made that one mistake? My quarterly score is now screwed, and my year score already was because of missing one game during the first quarter.
The game needs to have some kind of allowance for a player missing a game or two.
The game needs to be updated by Tuesday (Wednesday when there's a Monday holiday) so players have plenty of time to put in their predictions. There was literally only an 18 hour window to get in predictions this week.
