Crap. I forgot to predict for the derby this week. First time this year I forgot. Probably because it's such a forgettable weekend that it holds practically no interest for me. What really sucks is that it's also a relatively easy weekend to predict. Ugh.

I haven't been much of a competitor for awhile. I'll try to step it up a bit this quarter.

I don't know if everyone agrees with this or not, but I think for next year (obviously too late for this year), that a predictor's bottom two scores should be thrown out. That allows for someone to make a mistake or two during the year, but also makes it fair for those who don't forget, because their low scores get thrown out too. What do you think?

I agree, especially me possibly taking 12 hours next semester and possibly working more hours than right now.

Ugh. I just realized I forgot to adjust my early predictions to match theater counts. Mostly this effects Playbook, which I had at 5M. I'll be close to dead last this week.

Going to assume no game this week (which is fine by me).

Yes, I'm thinking we should just skip this week with holidays and no full set of actuals for the previous weekend.

Just a quick note, due to the general lack of demand for the game, we won't be offering prizes in 2013. If the game ever rises in membership, we'll reconsider at that time. The game itself will continue as long as xiayun or someone else is willing to create the game each week.

Ughhhh tough week!

I know it's only guesstimates, but there's an 8-point difference between 1st and 3rd right now, and I'm at #1. How did that happen?!

It seems the openers tripped a lot of people up.

Yeah, I super fucked up this week. I must have confused the time period or something because I way overestimated the totals for the openers.

We need someone to finalize last weeks game so we can predict this week. We only have 30 or so hours left to predict!

Initially Karl gave permissions to some of us but I tried entering the numbers and I was not able to add it. Not sure maybe only xia has the permission to do so.

I tried as well but after entering the actuals I got an error message.

I was able to create a new game however. I assumed if entering actuals for the previous week were a prerequisite then it would not let me do this.

I hope that in doing this that the previous weekend results were not somehow lost.

Yeah I'm not able to see my last weekends prediction. I hope there is a way to recover them.

Apologize guys. A little too caught up on the work and completely blanked on entering the actuals and creating a new game this week. I no longer see the link to enter the actuals either now, so will have to ask Karl to see if it's something he could correct.

Thanks Ryu for the PM, I wouldn't have seen this otherwise. I manipulated some things to make the game think the new week had vanished, then entered the actuals for the prior week. I un-vanished the current week, so everything should be good to go.
