Also I disagree about ROTK, to me it was an A movie and I still love it, and it deserved it over Mystic River which wasn't that good and Master and Commander was boring. Seabuscuit while good didn't deserve Best Picture.

Re: Worst Best Picture Winner Master and Commander and Lost in Translation were both far, far more deserving of best picture, but The Return of the King is still a very fine film, and I obviously understand why they were motivated to honor Peter Jackson's overall accomplishment.

Re: Worst Best Picture Winner Well that year was also a bad year, I would have given it to Fargo that year if it was up to me. I could have also put Forrest Gump on this list that movie is very overrated. Pulp Fiction or Shawshank Redemption would have been better choices.

Re: Worst Best Picture Winner I think it's almost no question the order goes Shawshank, Pulp, and Forrest, but I still don't mind Forrest Gump winning that year. A film like that would never make 330 million in the US ever again. The film was just a monster phenomenon at the time.

So, there REALLY is no need listing old movies from 60 years ago.
