Thats no good, anyways its only the first bad review i've read so far, the only other so-so one i've read the guy gave it an 8/10 though said its good not great. Everyother review i've read said its great. I do think the movie will get a bit slammed by critics or atleast wont be greeted with open arms, just doesnt seem like the type of movie critics would praise much.
Anyways I hear theres about 30min cut off the movie that will be on the dvd, not because of the violence or anything, just because it would've been too long, though I hear its some scenes fans would be gitty about.

reviews from critics shouldnt matter to much with this film as long as it is not totaly panned

One more bad review in CHUD.... [from "Grofield"]
http://chud.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75210&page=1&pp=150
Quote: I caught the Boston screening yesterday. I agree with many of the criticisms in Parker's reviews Quote: I can confidently write that this is the most faithful comic book adaptation ever put to film.

Here's 7 reviews from IMDb, six were positive, one wasnt.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0401792/usercomments
Though like the last reviewer said, it seems as though a Love or hate movie.

See now I dont get that, if its so faithful, that means you dont like it because you werent fond of the novel to begin with.

I think that that review by Parker illustrates the danger of watching this movie and feeling the need to obsessively compare it to the graphic novels. Of course, not everyone who has read them will be as analytical as that guy, but I just feel like I'm in a better position, barely having any knowledge of Sin City.

in fact, they think that it is one of the big problem.
Comparing to the comic book, cinema is a different medium and has different rules.

Miller is probably the most cinematic storytelling artist in the history of comics, though. Most storyboard artists do their sequences just like comic book artists do. The guy who did storyboards for The Matrix came directly out of the comic book field. He was fresh off drawing Spider-Man. This is why Rodriguez wanted Miller, because of his eye for the dramatic shot. Comic artists frame their shots just like they're looking through a camera lens.

The film is R rated for:
"the official rating is Rated R for Sustained Strong violence, nudity, sexual content and dialouge, this rating was attached to the trailer attached to point pleasant last night."
The reason why it says sustained strong violence is because the blood in the film will be white, and yellow for the yellow bastard. Thats all it still has all the same action packed and bloody scenes from the comic.

It will be  though the reactions have been mixed so far so I dont expect everyone to like it which means I may have to lower my prediction big time
