Post Re: SAG Discussion Thread
Bullshit. "Slumdog" did NOT have best acting ensemble of the year. It is a wonderful film, but it is not by any stretch of the imagination an acting showcase. The cast was decent -- a few shined, the non-acting children were handled well by Boyle -- but this is a sham. It's an insult to the casts of films such as Frost/Nixon and Milk, casts who truly gave AMAZING performances.

Their nominating committee changes every year. They're usually dicks too when they try to see movies for free.

Ehhhh....Slundog's a bigger lock than NCFOM (if that's possible). It is actually also a big box-office hit.

I had the same problem, but then Parker Posey would show up and it would just wither and die.

The best part of that movie was the opening credits. And the aforementioned bulge.

I dunno, the Superboy revelation got a mild chuckle out of me before I slipped back into fantasizing masturbation.
