Some people don't need a reason, they just hate because of some sort of compensation mechanism. Others probably hate your confidence. I've experienced similar hateful vibes from various insecure members.

I don't think anyone hates you - I certainly don't - and Box is just kidding around, but I think a lot of people just find you annoying.

They're not going to come out and answer you, because it would make them look like petty imbeciles. (unless you actually DID do something to wrong them)

The answer is in my post above. It annoys some people to see self confidence displayed. You have it, they know it, it annoys them.

Well, if I may put on my Dr. Phil hat ever so briefly, I'll try to explain.

It all goes along with the old saying "misery loves company". Lot's of people are just flat out miserable in life, be it from their frustration in romantic endeavors, or if they are stuck at a dead end job with no prospects of ever "being somebody". Life basically sucks for them. When we see a person who has self confidence, it just screams "I'm happy with my life and myself!!!", and those in misery feel even more miserable, so they do the only thing they can think to do, they try to take that person down, even if it's just in their own mind, so they can feel a little better and build themselves up.

You're not doing anything wrong by being true to yourself. I'm also very self confident, and I know all too well how that can hurt feelings, especially on the internet. Changing to pacify sensitive feelings of others isn't the answer, though, so just keep being you, and allow me to giggle when I see it bother somebody's psyche!

I'm probably going to regret posting this, but it has to do with the fact that your posts, at least in the Water Cooler, add nothing to the conversation. You start/inspire threads like Boo Boo Kitty Fuck. Everyone posts stupid stuff. You usually post stupid stuff. Nothing to do with your "self confidence" (if that's what it's called, since it looks to me like you actually have self esteem problems and want constant affirmations by posting the pics you constantly do). That attention-whore aspect of your personality is also terribly annoying. (Though the attention-whore-ism is not exclusive to you in any way.)

Reasons why I hate Corpse:

#1. She became my mortal enemy when Snrub and I signed on to become the #1 duo at KJ and she was temporarily standing in the way.

#2. She "hired" Mr X to infiltrate and sabotage my competition. I say "hired", because I suspect she paid him in naked pictures of Korrgan's doggy, which I don't know if that counts as a form of currency, so perhaps I should say "bribed him"?

#3. She thinks Nintendo makes good games.

But, cheer up, Corpse... that's only 3 reasons! For most people I can list 5-6 reasons why I hate them.

I can't even add up the number for Squee without taking off my shoes AND pants.

I'm afraid that I can't speak to any of that, because I haven't been around, but in my brief time back, I've found her to be friendly, funny, and just having a good time, so I'd consider that to be adding something that appears to be very sorely needed here. We all say meaningless stuff sometimes. To quote the man, half of what I say is meaningless.

Just to let you know even though we disagree alot in the gamiing forum doesnt mean I dislike you if you were getting that impression. I dont think I hate anyone in particular unlike some other posters here admit

You're part of the next-gen KJ'ers, and you're different. Your personality doesn't always mesh with the old status quo, and I think that's where a lot of the backlash comes from. There is no doubt that as juju said, many people don't feel it is appropriate to post the pictures you do, again, a personality choice.

I've talked to you, and you're a pretty grounded person in MOST aspects. I have no problems with you, and find you a valued member of the community. Unlike juju, I think you add value to conversations more than most.

Diversity is great, I think old and new styles both have their place.
