Re: Yahoo Review Thread - 3:10 to Yuma, Shoot 'Em Up
Two-hour: Dragon Wars - 367 (71), +74 (+21), B- (down from B) Mr. Woodcock - 137 (26), +28 (+1), C- The Brave One - 119 (23), +30 (+9), B- (down from B) Well, $1-2m for D-Wars, $1.5-2m for Woodcock (the ratio should be higher than a regular comedy with the low grade), $4-5m for The Brave One.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - The Brave One, Mr. Woodcock, D-Wars
4-5 mil. is pretty disappointing for The Brave One, is it not?

It'll have a really good weekend multiplier, but it doesn't look like more than $15-17m, which is not bad, but I guess disappointing for some.

The Brave One is getting a bad grade. It must have offended alot of the masculine groups out there that were protesting outside.

I really don't see why anyone though that it would open any higher than the 14 million that Enough opened with in 2002. It appeals to the same demo, and that opening would translate to about 17 million today.... I think the problem with the film is that it's just not that appealling to men. They don't tend to like action flicks with a moral conscience..

Dragon Wars - 591 (143), +29 (+12), B- The Brave One - 196 (41), +6 (+5), B- Mr. Woodcock - 194 (29), +5 (+0), C- Look like Dragon Wars is going to finish around 800 and close to $2m for the day. Folks in Korea should be waking up about now, so interesting to see if the $50m+ gross there is going to translate to some additional reviews. The Brave One may not make to 300, considering it only broke 20 reviews once in one-hour updates. Will see if the night business brings some life. Projecting $4.5m for now. Mr. Woodcock is even more lifeless without front page and should end with 250. With the awful grade, still looking at $1.5-2m.

Looks like DW and Brave One are picking up... yet Woodcock is staying level.

Yeah, look like The Brave One should hit $5m.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - The Brave One, Mr. Woodcock, D-Wars
I should have gone higher on Dragon Wars, but I didn't think Freestlye Releasing had enough experience to pull off a breakout opening.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - 3:10 to Yuma, Shoot 'Em Up
Dragon Wars - 1238 (298), +121 (+21), C+ The Brave One - 314 (70), +14 (+4), B- Mr. Woodcock - 240 (34), +3 (+0), C (up from C-) Final projections: The Brave One - only picked up for a couple of hours at night. A 65 ratio gives it $4.8m. Dragon Wars - the ratio should be high, and the late increase could contribute to Korean audience as I suspected. A 600 ratio puts it at $2m. Mr. Woodcock - the grade is finally back to C, but quite lifeless the whole day. A 120 ratio also gives it $2m.

Syndey White - 26, +1, B+ Resident Evil: Extinction - 139, +13, A- Good Luck Chuck, 27, +7, B Yahoo's been good at keeping the overall reviews updated lately, so I don't see any need to track the written ones right now. Feel free to add them if you disagree, though.
