I think it shows they shouldn't keep remaking Invasion of the Body snatchers. This is like the fourth remake and then you have to consider that Invasion of the Body Snatchers is really a rip off of The Puppet Masters.

The Last Legion isn't as bad as people have made it out to be!

I thought it was a decent movie.

I could see Invasion having a ratio around 80 with Kidman and Craig attracting an older audience, but the pace is still awful. $3m tops.

Superbad will probably have a ratio closer to 150 with a bigger online presence, but $10m looks good.

The Last Legion is actually doing a little better than I expected. Hard to see it not getting $1m today with grade not in the danger zone (yet), decent TC, and stable pace.

Agree with no more than $3M for The Invasion. Superbad should be heading for $10-11M, while The Last Legion likely has $1M at this point.

Maybe I'm reaching, but doesn't an older crowd usually go to see Nicole Kidman? I'm not expecting this to be a hit by any stretch of the imagination, but I figured it at least had the potential to hit 10-11 million...

Kidman being a draw on her own has always been a topic of debate. As for this film, it's been plagued by numerous delays and has generate very little buzz.

I know all that, it just still seemed like a decent enough movie to get over that hump...I mean where we're seeing a lot of films do great this year...when things flop hard, they flop hard. That middle range of 50 million dollar movies (I think, this is w/o research) has dwindled quite a bit this year.

I'm not imagining things! 29 movies that grossed between 45-65 million last year, 7 so far this year

I think Superbad will be RIGHT under $10 mil. While Invasion might be closer to $5 mil... like $4.5...

Superbad slowed down a lot, so it might not reach $10 million. Maybe $9 million, still an amazing number for a comedy with no stars (Minus Rogen, sorta). The LAst Legion, $1.5-2 million. The Invasion, $2.5-3 million, and that's optimistic. I'm no expert at this though. Xia still up?

If FM's #'s hold, Superbad's ratio was roughly 100. The Invasion & The Last Legion both posted slightly higher than expected ratios.

Superbad is now at 2118 without any frontpage exposure today. Look good to have at least a sub-5% drop.

The Nanny Diaries is starting the morning with 300+ reviews. With the fanbase and demo, I suspect we'll see a fairly high ratio for it.

War should have a ratio of around 140/150, probably higher than Fearless' because of Statham. 200 for Nanny, 400 for September Dawn. No idea about Bean and RtC, my guesses are respectively 100+ and 200-.
