Damn women. First they sleep around with everyone - even Russian spies! - then they don't let rogue spies see their loco ex-girlfriends.

Ugh.

in other news, who else thinks Morris belongs in Arrested Development.

I think Morris belongs in some far realm of television where the characters aren't allowed to speak or appear on screen. He almost single-handedly ruined everything in CTU this season, enjoyment-wise.

Well THAT was a nasty verbal put-down.

It appears they realized going through with a full-blown lobotomy would kill the character (One of the few good ones they have left), but still, it pisses me off. Actually, I'm not sure there was a any real redeeming quality of this episode, except maybe the scenes involving Jack. The White House plot is PAINFUL.

:sigh:

Yeah, Not-Tony/Michelle have had their fair share in ruining CTU.

However, Morris HAS ruined Chloe. Actually, has she left CTU at ALL this season? She's alright at CTU, but she's always at her best when she's not at a desk, whether she's pumping terrorists full of lead, being chased by a hitman, or tazering drunks.

So... Heller just came out of nowhere. He literally just materialized into CTU during the commercial break.

Nothing much happened this ep. You know the show's reached a new low when the most key conversation of the hour takes place between Jack and a character who's not speaking!

I just want this season to endddddddd.....

I like the episode overall although I think the next episode will blow this one away.

Where did Chloe run off to? I hope Cheng nabs her to fix the chip! I'd love to see who among Chloe or Cheng has the best scowl face on 24.

Also? The guy on Stargate SG-1 plays Lisa Miller's spy booty call. Once again, he walks around shirtless. Damn him!

I thought the show has been fairly stronger lately. I can understand hating it around the time when Papa Bauer was towering over everyone in a room, but it's been better. And I liked the scene with Jack and Audrey. I can't reiterate this enough: Audrey cannot die.

Heller telling Jack that everyone he touches dies was rough. True, but rough.

Somehow, the writers shifted the lame love stories to the White House. The White House wasn't good all year, but at least it wasn't plagued with love angles.

Nadia is better in a power role, and Doyle is better helping Jack. Milo still sucks, and Morris is a black cloud hanging over CTU.

Oh, and why did they display William Devane's name at the start of the show? I know he's not on the same level as Pres. Logan or Audrey, but he only appeared near the end. Would've been a nice surprise for those who don't read spoilers.

That was the first time I've gasped out loud at something on 24 since, like, Curtis got shot four months ago.

Maybe the show has decided to pick up the pace as it nears the end of the season?

bye bye Milo

wouldn't it be awkward if while they're all sitting there and there is silent, someone rips one.

They said 21 hours, no?

Doesn't that mean next week is one hour and May 21 is 2 hours (like last year)?

Well...

Tonight's episode was certainly an improvement over the last couple of weeks, but...

James Cromwell's back? Eh? Evil Papa Bauer doesn't really cut it for me, it's all kind of annoying.

And I don't think I've ever been less affected by the "shocking" death of a cast member on a show. Who honestly cared about Milo?

I thought it was rather an improvement over the past few months, if only because they did away with a lot of the melodrama in favour of pure Bauer action. It's too bad they didn't show Jack taking out the entire Chinese team, though.

I enjoyed the episode, especially Jack doing his thing. And poor Milo, although I am not too sure who will miss him although the scene was very tense. Looks like Philip is teaming up with the Chinese now and that will be the final showdown.

Hopefully that happens next week!!!

Finally, an episode I enjoyed.

I can't say the same for Tom Lennox who has to endure watching some softcore porn lovemaking from Lisa Miller and boyfriend (for more than half-hour??? Geesh....).
