I'm kind of surprised that's my top ten of the year... not that they're bad films, but wow. But then again I haven't seen pretty much any of the Oscar contenders of this year yet, there's still lots of time.

jmart007 wrote: Even though I've seen 104 films, it wouldn't surprise me if this list keeps getting updated well into 2007. There are still many movies left to be watched like Apocalypto, Bobby and Babel. And then there are upcoming films such as Rocky Balboa (Slim chance, but who knows?) and Children of Men.
Go figure.
1. Little Miss Sunshine
2. The Departed
3. Casino Royale
4. Superman Returns
5. Stranger than Fiction
6. United 93
7. The Proposition
8. Rocky Balboa
9. Clerks II
10. Lucky Number Slevin
The only chances at the Top 10 I've yet to see are Children of Men, Babel, The Pursuit of Happiness, The Good Shepherd, Letters from Iwo Jima, and Blood Diamond. I would throw Dreamgirls onto that list, but I highly doubt it will make my top ten. I expect to enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Chicago ( C-).
