You've seen it, then? Is the 100-minute running time official?

The That '70s Show retrospective special got 7.58 million viewers, including what was added in from the X3 clip. The actual episode of he show only got 6.20 million viewers, so the clip was seemingly a bigger deal than when Fox advertisted ROTS during The O.C. last year.

wacth the 7min trailer.
I love the film, it does not feel that differnt from singer's films. However i like the amount of action in the films. There are going to be some high profile fights in the film. Most important this films fits perfectly as a summer blockbuster. I see 200 million easily, especially if it breaks 100 million in four days.

Yeah, I've seen it. Don't put me down on the exact run time, I didn't check my watch at the start of the screening. But it is anywhere between 95 and 105

With OTH and TDVC out I don't think it will get quite that many theaters.

Well, 4,100+ theatres are assured, IMO.
My new predictions:
Opening weekend (4-day) - $115 million
Total gross - $255 million

4-day OW: 110
Total: 220
Memorial Day Wknd + 3rd and final chapter = major frontloadedness. WOM probably won't even be as good as X2.

You're probably right. I just don't see a huge increase over the second one.

I think a TC over 4000 is locked. I'll wait until next weekends TC are released, to see how RV, MI3, Poseidon, Hoot, and Just My Luck drop.

I agree, but those last 350 can be tough to get.

I don't think it's THAT much of a stretch. This is Fox's movie of the summer. And aside from the Omen, the only movie that will gross over $50 million (unless I missed something). I don't think they have any worries about pumping everything they can into both marketing this and getting this as many theaters as possible.

I absolutely loved X2 and Im not a Ratner basher - I enjoyed the Rush Hour films, Money Talks and Red Dragon which IMO is much better than Hannibal. However, X3 just doesnt look right to me. Im a little concerned by the early reviews aswell, regardless I will go see it opening weekend.
And thats how I think audiences will relate. Opening weekend will be huge regardless of the quality - $115m opening 4 day and a $240-$250m total.

Me neither. Early reviews are suggesting a mediocre movie, which is pretty unfortunate because the first two were good comic book adaptations and i like watching them...

I just mean that once you get to the 4,000 level a slight TC increase takes a lot.

hes been saying that for every movie that attaches a trailer for Superman but what about all the other movies that always has a trailer attached to a certain movie. He acts like this whole procedure is rare for a movie
