Nope. But that's cool. Is there as strong a link between box office $ and written reviews as there is with the others?

More times than not, if the ratio of written to overall reviews is low, that may point to a higher ratio, especially if those reviews are negative with a poor overall grade. It hasn't happened much lately, but the possibility is always there. And when I say a "low" ratio, I mean a situation where a film may have 300 reviews, of which 150 of those are written. A 1:2 written ratio could be a cause for concern, depending on what those reviews say. I'd say a written to overall ratio of 1:5 or higher will rarely point to a higher ratio based on user feedback alone.

And for our newbies, Horlicks (along with xiayun and a few others) is one of the main reasons Yahoo tracking was created and continues to thrive. Major props to him for hitting the ground running with this valuable thread.

That's pretty sad for Journey. I'm not even sure Meet Dave will have that much higher of ratio between the two, so I'd say they're doing similarly bad business. Journey will have an advantage of ticket price per review, but that's about it.

Quite poor for Journey & Meet Dave. Looks like MTC could be close on both this week. They will both have a low ratio, but it won't matter much. Hellboy looks like it's heading for an $11-13M day, as expected.

It will be interesting to see where HB2 ends up being. I'm not entirely convinced it has 30 million in the bag. Remember that the original had only a 2.64 internal multiplier. But that was 4 years ago in the spring time. With this being a sequel released in the summer, I think best case scenario for the internal multiplier would be 2.5, meaning it would need at least 12 million to get to 30 million.

Very good pace lately for Hellboy II; right now I see $13m for it, then $4m for both MD and Journey (higher written percentage than MD and higher portion of its reviews from before the start of the day, two not-so-good signs, but cancel that out with higher ticket price).
