Get Smart - 313 (68), +48 (+9), B The Love Guru - 153 (35), +14 (+3), C- Get Smart is picking up the pace, while The Love Guru remains stagnant. My early instinct is $12m and $4m.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Get Smart, The Love Guru
Guru MIGHT make it to 275 reviews. Which is about $3-4 mil.
Get Smart should get to 700 reviews, which is RIGHT about $10 mil.
So Guru will get about a $10-11 mil weekend, while Smart gets about a $30-32 mil weekend.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Get Smart, The Love Guru
Good late pace for Get Smart; not much change for The Love Guru. I'm thinking $11.5-12m and $3.5-4m.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Get Smart, The Love Guru
715 for Get Smart 271 for Guru
So it's pretty much right in line with what early in the day was projecting, but Smart with a slightly lower ratio due to the late night push.
So yeah, Xiayun should have it pretty on the money. About $12-13 mil for Smart, and right about $3.5 for Guru.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Get Smart, The Love Guru
Apparently actuals are:
Smart: $13.5 mil, 53 ratio, quite lower than expected
Guru: $5.4 mil, 50 ratio?, doesn't seem quite right.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Get Smart, The Love Guru
Yeah, Get Smart is still explainable with the continuing trend of lowered ratio and its older demo, but The Love Guru left me scratch my head.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Get Smart, The Love Guru
I really didn't see ANY reason its ratio was so low.

Reviews as of this post:
Wall-E - 310 Wanted - 220
Early reviews appear to be the new trend and likely explain the very low ratios of late.

Re: Yahoo Review Thread - Wall-E, Wanted
Basically, if we assume the ratio between the two films stay relatively stable at 1.4-1.5:1, and give a ratio of 70 to Wall-E and 90 to Wanted, the ratio between the two's opening days would be 2:1. So our earliest projection: Wall-E - $30m, Wanted - $15m!
