That's kind of low for a gross. Last time it made $653 million worldwide. I think this one is at least capable of the same.

Just saw a tv spot for it during the Dodgers & Giants game and it made it perfectly clear that there are midnight showings tonight, that basically was the whole point of the tv spot, to promote the midnight showings. Didnt really see those type of tv spots that often.

It's been on the radio all day that it's starting tonight. Even the last people I'd expect to know about the midnight showings knew about it. Impressive.

I bogged my prediction down due to the lower-then-expected amount of screens. However, I'm seriously beginning to wonder if that'll make any difference in the end anyway.
But I'll stick with it anyway.

I think its fairly safe to say that I have never been this excited about an opening weekend. And that's saying something, because its quite safe to say I'm clueless about these things and operate in a b.o. bubble.
I think now would be a good time to reveal that the first time I ever discovered internet b.o. sites, and specifically you guys, was when I began tracking the run of PIrates 1 online after reading a blurb about it's legs in the Boston Globe.
Awww *sniff sniff* Its like they're playing our first song *sniff sniff*

Yep. Especially if the crowd reports tomorrow are insane, DP07 insane.
Then we'll all be holding our breaths for the numbers.
