It's really in a totally different class than the other films. Yeah, it's the worst of them (except for Emily Rose). If you're saying that, i'm not sure you even saw it. Seriously. How could you say Amityville Horror is better than it? That's ridonkulous. Um, are you kidding? Feel free to go to the Reviews forum and read all the reviews I have up for the nominated films. I gave TDR a B-. Great effort, trying to get ot the raw 70s style, but the story was very lacking. Trying to be so "twisted" by making the audiences sympathize with the Rejects is not worth applauding. He wasn't trying to make the audience sympathize with the Rejects. He wanted you to see both of their sides as a family, and make you think about it. If you sympathized with them, great. If not, great. And if he failed making me think about it and only made me wish for the Sheriff to torture them to death?
Then you got what you wanted for about ten minutes.
Still, the fact that you're even talking about sympathizing with the Rejects means you did think about it, even in a negative way.

Murderball was the best documentary of last year.
Nothing even compares, unfortunately.

Psssht. At least 8 votes between BJ and Myself, and I'm guessing andaroo had it up there. There are a few people who saw it as well and liked it, though I don't know who of them voted. But everyone who has seen it has actually found it to be quite good. My fourth ranked film of the year.

Everyone should vote for Kung Fu Hustle! Shutup and go kill yourself.

That's signature worthy.
You, Zing, and I are the only ones who understand where Downfall really, really belongs.

You missed the words "to death"?
Anyway, we are going way too off-topic here, we can continue this in TDR's official thread, deal?
For now, get to see Downfall!

I thought you said you didn't like it. Sigh. Was it Paradise Lost that was not so good?
If so, WoW is on sale at the vidy shop for 7 bucks. I'll blind buy if you three recommend (I covet the roo's opinion)

I didn't see it.
I nominated it because I think it deserved it, based on other people's comments.
