It has a good release-date, so I think the opening will be about 40m and the total around 160m (the legs should be quite decent if you ask me)...

This movie looks terrible. I still think it's going to do good, but it's going to dissapoint some of you.
Opening: $42 million, Total: $126 million

Uhh, interesting... I think the movie looks better than Shrek 2, Shark Tale and The Incredibles!
But you might be right about this one - it could 'disappoint' and make only $100m... :???:

That's not bad, but it's a bit low compared to every other CGI movie.

I know, LOL! But for me everything under $100m would be a big disappointment for this kind of film. I expect it to make at least $120m-$130m with a $40m+ opening weekend.

Shame people think this wont do as well as other CGI movies.
I think the trailer was hilarious, and early word of mouth is awesome.
I think it looks funnier than Madagascar, Shark Tale and Ice Age all rolled in one.

Way overpredicted. This reminds me of Iron Giant and Titan A.E. in terms of commercial appeal. $17/$54. (may adjust lower as release date approaches)

This thing is going to be popular, the ads are great and I've read a few glowing reviews -- not sure what the average review will be like but for sure there are people who love it which is a good sign.
Now as to predictions --- I'll say 150m total which to me is a huge amount in March. I bet it might have made double that if released in the summer or year end holiday period.

Yup I still cant believe all the predictions under 40 million dollars when it has proven time and time again Kiddy CGI flicks all open well, why should this be any different or break the trend big time.
Im upping it to 50 million with a 175 million gross

Impact,
There was already a robots prediction thread. In the future just try and do a quick search before starting a prediction thread.
Anyways I think it will open in the 45-60 Range, to a final of 150-180
