 Californication
Are you guys with Showtime watching this tonight? I'm excited for this show. I've always been a fan of Duchovny and this show looks great.

 Re: Californication
Saw an ad for it so looks like we'll get it soon here too.
Is the Chili Pepper's "Californication" used as the theme song?

^ No, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are nowhere to be found.

'Dream On - 2007, LA Edition!'
The premise reminded me of the show Dream On, which is where a writer, who often is around his ex-wife, has tons of sex with random women.
I watched the pilot and I am not sold on the show completely but I will keep watching. Hey nothing like statuatory rape to get a show off on the right foot!

 Re: Californication
I caught the pilot last night. I enjoyed it. And the coincidence with Mia was hilarious. I'll watch it again next week.

 Re: Californication
I have to agree. The show is getting better every week, little by little. It's still not on the level of Weeds or Entourage, but it's getting there. If only for David Duchovny! He's terrific on the show.

Thankyou - you just reminded me of a show - Dream On - I used to sometimes watch late at night back in the 90s!!!! I totally forgot about it. I may hunt it down on DVD.

 Re: Californication
Californication has been renewed for a second season! Apparently, it has actually built from its premiere, and has held on to 90% of Weeds' audience. Awesome news.
I'm liking the show a lot. It's rough around the edges, but so was Weeds in its first season. Weeds took a while to get going, and I feel Californication is on the same track.

 Re: Californication
I love this show more and more every week. I love David Duchovny. I'm glad to see he finally landed a successful role after Fox Mulder. And I'm glad that when I see Duchovny, I see Hank Moody, not Mulder.

 Re: Californication
I just finished Season 5, and started watching the first episode of season 6. Really notched up the drama.
Very entertaining show, perfect for me to watch during dinner.
