He's got his record, what else does he have to play for? A championship? He'd have to go to the AL for that, and there aren't many contenders who have an open DH spot, except for the Yankees who might be getting rid of A-Rod and Giambi. Actually, with that short porch, that'd be a good fit for him.

Bonds isn't in it for the record.
He just wants to be remembered. As we all do.

He just wants to be remembered. As we all do. Yeah but I think most of us want to be remembered for something good, really 20 years from now do we remember the record (assuming A-Rod breaks it) or the steriods my bets on the latter.

^ Cool image.
Of course, it all gets me thinking of the South Park moment where they're doing the awards at the Special Olympics and they're talking about avoiding steroid use while Bonds, McGwire, and Giambi are all onstage.

He just wants to be remembered. As we all do. Huh? That doesn't make any sense. He's clearly in it for the record and he knows that's the only reason why people will remember him. If he wasn't, he'd be playing for the Angels, Tigers, Yankees or Red Sox right now.
