24 Season 5 - A
The best season. Every episode is gripping. White House, CTU, inside, outside, I feel very little is wasted.

I'm halway through season 5 of 24. It's the worst season yet for me. Everything feels familiar, there is nothing that surprised me and the show seems like it knows it has nothing new to tell us storywise so all of the "WTF I can't believe" moments are unexpected deaths. And even they seem completely unnecessary. I hope the second part of the season is much better. Otherwise this will be the worst season of 24 for me. I'd grade it about C+ for now. Which is underwhelming considering all other seasons were A+ or A material for me!!!!!

 The first 3 episodes really drag it down that much for you? From now on whenever I think of Lost S3, I'm completley disregarding the first 6 episodes. Really, considering the hiatus, it was almost more of a season 2.5. The hiatus was as long as the summer break between the seasons, hehe. The two don't feel jointed at all.
They should just release the first 6 episodes as season 2.5 so no-one can buy it but the hardcore fans who want it for collection and nothing else, and then put the real S3 as a 16 episode set like the last 3 seasons will end up being. And I'm hardly kidding. Those episodes don't belong in the otherwise perfect Lost repetoire, and they feel like a completley different season than everything E7 on.

I actually thought that the 4th and the 6th episodes were quite decent. The season premiere, however, was very very mediocre and simply left a bad taste for a long time, especially considering that the two following episodes didn't do anything to improve that condition. What came after the break became gradually better with Desmond's "Flashes Before Your Eyes" being the big stand-out for a while...until the final four episodes that are prety much on par or even topping the best of the best of Season 1. _________________The greatest thing on earth is to love and to be loved in return!
