Trixter needs Vancouver to win to have picked all 8 teams to win in his Top 8

Nashville is the only one that has screwed me over. My only hope is that Vancouver wins tonight, and makes it VERY far in the playoff race, as trixster has Vancouver low at #7, while I have Vancouver making it to the finals. That can help make a lot of ground to catch up.
This is why I love the hockeydraft. It can change every round depending on who moves on.
Peace,
Mike.

The only chance I have is for it to be a 7 game series between Detroit and New Jersey for the Stanley Cup, with Detroit winning.

I've been lucky with my picks so far. I've never gone 8 for 8 in an opening round before, but now I have a chance to. If only Vancouver doesn't screw it up...

Oh, and I'll have the results for round one and the questions for round two up tonight after the game's over.

Interesting note, all of Dallas' 3 wins so far have been Turco shutouts, his streak's up to about 140 minutes now. A Vancouver goal would be a good omen.

Why the hell are the Canucks wearing their old uni for this game? They look like the Hartford Whalers. You'd think for Game 7 they'd wear something a little more distinguished. Whatever works for them I guess.
Wait. Why do I care about uniforms again?

I must be the only person who likes their vintage jerseys...

I'm rooting for Dallas, but I'm sensing the Canucks are going to score very soon. There is just way too much pressure on the Stars end of the ice.

A stick's a stick though. I like their black and gold uniforms better myself, but maybe that's because I'm a Bruins fan.
Canucks power play. I smell a goal.

3 Vancouver Canucks in seven games
5 San Jose Sharks in five games
EASTERN CONFERENCE
1 Buffalo Sabres in five games
2 New Jersey Devils in six games
6 New York Rangers in four games
4 Ottawa Senators in five games
QUESTIONS
1. Which series will last the fewest games? Atlanta/New York
2. Which series will last the most games? Vancouver/Dallas
3. How many series will go to seven games? One
4. Which series will have the biggest blow-out? Atlanta/New York
5. Which series will have the longest game? Vancouver/Dallas
6. How many overtimes will the longest game go to? Four
7. Which team will score the most goals? New Jersey
8. Which team will score the fewest goals? Atlanta
9. Which team will allow the most goals? Tampa Bay
10. Which team will allow the fewest goals? New York Rangers
11. Which player will score the most goals? Zach Parise
12. Which player will score the most assists? Scott Gomez
13. Which player will score the most points? Scott Gomez
14. Which goalie will have the best goals against average? Marty Turco
15. Which goalie will have the best save percentage? Marty Turco
16. Which goalie will have the most shutouts? Marty Turco
NOTE: I didn't count Giguere's stats, even though he technically had the lowest GAA + best save %, because he only played in one full game.
SCORES:
1. trixster - 17
2. jmart - 16
T. Squee - 16
3. MikeQ. - 14
4. Mr. X - 9
5. Shack - 8
6. ChipMunky - 7
Close at the top, but what's surprising is that last year's top two are the bottom two after the first round. And that Squee is somehow tied for second.
Round two questions up in a bit.

Shack continues to be a poor predictor.
What is wrong, Shack? Have you seen a doctor about this? Maybe a psychiatrist? Some sort of mental block?
